Gate Valves - Slab Gate Valves

MICRONE through conduit slab gate valves are typically used in the oil and gas industry for installation in liquid products and secondary recovery, midstream and downstream pipelines. Typical applications include, but are not limited to:

  1.  Mainline block valves.
  2.  Tank and station valves.
  3.  Launcher/receiver trap valves
  4.  Meter bypass valves
  5.  Emergency shutdown valves

The engineered bore sealing mechanism of the TCSGV valve is the primary metal-to-metal seat and secondary soft seat. This configuration provides reliable soft sealing and uncompromised metal sealing for severe/heavy-duty services involving:

  1.  Abrasive fluids and sandy services
  2.  High-temperature services
  3.  Service conditions requiring full reliability such as emergency shutdown valves (ESDV)

Standard Design Features:

  1. Stem seals: self-energized non-rolling lip seals
  2. No side load and friction drag on the stem – low operating thrust.
  3. Stem protector and gate position indicator
  4. Through-conduit, self-cleaning, floating slab gate
  5. Floating seat always in contact with the gate
  6. Metal-to-metal primary seal, protected O-ring secondary seal.
  7. Block-and-bleed and double block-and-bleed design
  8. Top-entry body for in-line maintenance
